Hey there Heidi, yes, the months are flying by and the heat of the summer is just around the corner, and as much as I hate the severe cold I hate the summer from Hell heat.. The summers here in Florida have been changing severly every year.. When I first came here in 1989 it rained every day about 4 pm you could set your watch to it. and then is was just enough to cool down the afternoon.. the hottest it ever got here was around 80 to 85 .. Usually in August and September we got some 90's, even an occassional 100.. but now it is if it does rain, it is so hot that when it stops, you are in a Steam Bath.. It is like trying to breath under water.. yuck!!

Okay. look at me complaining..

OKay. I will get out of here, I need to get busy I have so many things to do.. Ya'll cover me I'm going back in!!

Good morning Heidi.. I live on the Space Coast in Mims.. We are almost directly across from NASA actually Titusvile is directly across the river.. but we are just right beside Titusville..

We can just walk out in the yard to see the Shuttle Launches.. and our houses and windows shake very nicely when they go up.. but noting compares to the Sonic BOOM!! when it comes home.. When it breaks the sound barrier.. WOW.. lol..lol. the first time we heard it right after we moved here, I was outside watering in the front yard.. My ex was on the throne.. lol..lol.. when it hit.. I thought I had been shot and he about fell off the commode.. lol..lol.. and ever since, even though you know it is coming home and the time. It still takes you by surprise.. lol. The stories people could tell about that are probably book worthy..

Okay, I am going to ask a different question here..

I was thinking the other day about how different we all are, and yet so very close. Basically we know each other by what we rear here and it is easy to be honest, because there are no expectation, or judgmental attitudes, and I think that is such a wonderful thing.. Kind of what I think the Lord has told us we should of been along time ago.. lol..

Okay here is my question.. Most all of us have read a book.. I would like to know what you consider a classic book/story and why? I will be really intertest to find out everyones thoughts on that are..

Hey Hello Joanne and Heidi .. I am so glad to see you here. I have so busy that I have not had time to play much.

But I know things will be better soon.. Hum-m-m North Caroling that is not that far from us.. David's daughter lives in Columbia South Carolina, so maybe one to these days when we go back up there, I will let you know and then we can see how far you are away from there..

Thank you Joanne. I love doing the daily newsletter, it is nice just to put some of my thoughts together and send them out.. I hope in some small way it reaches and enriches someone's life..

I just wanted to drop in real quick before I start to get ready for work..I have to work at 11 tonight and wont get home till after 7 tomorrow morning..Helen as to you question on what kind of books do we like and why do we read them. I think the best books I have read were the Left Behind Series I have read all 13 of them. They were so to scripture and the last one was such a beautiful one to read..the LORD came in a GLORIOUS APPEARING..and I just cried with joy in the end. I will loan them to you to read it will take you about 3 months to get through all 13 of them.. as for what other kind of books do I like..I like a tastefully done Romance novel..Joanne Krantze...and of course Danielle Steel..I also like a Patricia Cornwell and all of her books they are about the Virginia State Coroner's Office..I have all of her's too if you want to borrow any of them...I think this is a great idea for posting. And I will make it a point to check back here more often..You GO GIRL!! Another great accomplishment.
